Life’s too short to make an enemy is a famous poem by Richard Branson. But it is not just a poem. It has a great inner meaning to it. Have you ever wondered what you really get when you love the person who is worthy of it? What will you get if you give respect to them who respect you? The answer is nothing.

But what if you loved them who don’t deserve it or who deserve to be hated? It is then when you achieve something. It is said in the bible to love your enemies. According to the Bible Matthew said to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you so that we may prove to be worthy of our life on earth as the son of our father in heaven. God helps everyone with the sun and the irrespective of who’s right or who’s wrong.

There is nothing to boast about if you love those who love you. Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. It’s quite spiritual and enlightening. Intelligent people generally lookout for the negatives in others. It is difficult for them to ignore the negatives going on around as a result they end up depressed or committing suicide.

When a person is too proud and walks with his head held too high, he won’t make any friends. But a person who is humble, modest and noble will never run out of friends. Consider from the spiritual point of view.

If God sees that his creation has turned out to be so very worthless, how would he feel? In spite of all the sorrows, he is forgiving us and allowing us to live. I guess he is showing us by example that enmity is not what should be adapted. Even when Jesus was being crucified, he prayed that to the almighty father that his offenders should be forgiven despite all their sins.

Life is too short. It passes by without us even noticing it. So it’s better not to waste such a precious thing in hatred. Hatred is also boring and tiring. It not only affects you just mentally but also affects you physically.

It has been scientifically proven that hatred affects your life in a negative way. Cynicism is not a way of life. Rather optimism is. Love can bring satisfaction to your life. It doesn’t matter whether you’re intelligent or illiterate, love brings peace to your mind irrespective of how rich or poor you are.

The life till the years we matured seems to be too long because people seem to ignore the fact of hatred. But after that, the years seem to pass like days. That is when we realize the meaning of hatred.

So just keep hatred out of your life and enjoy it to the fullest. Hate the fact of hatred. Not others. Life is god’s gift. Do not abuse it by wasting on such puny matters as hatred. So start loving from now on and make this life worthwhile
